ARCHIVE

These works comprise scenes drawn from Jelly’s imagination, blending surrealistic elements with an exploration of atmosphere, entrance, and exit. The paintings draw significantly upon themes of turbulence, found objects and architectural fragments. Jelly creates an alternative, and at times unsettling, sense of reality punctuated with question and dream. Worked primarily in oils, with some acrylic and mixed media, these pieces have been created across the last three decades, and are held in collections internationally.
